Dr. David Stensland
Dr. Stensland is a physiatrist, a doctor trained to treat a wide variety of medical conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. He is double board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Stensland performs procedures such as epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, intra-articular joint injections, radiofrequency ablations, and more. He specializes in managing chronic pain with implantable devices, such as intrathecal pain pumps and spinal cord stimulators.
Sarah Rowe, NP
Nurse Practitioner Sarah Rowe has been a provider with Physical Medicine Consultants since 2022. She received her Bachelor of Science in 2010 from Bethel College, and in 2022 earned her master’s in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Saint Francis. She is certified as an NP-BC by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Sarah specializes in treating and managing chronic orthopedic pain caused by syndromes and diseases that affect the spine, joints, tissues, and nerves such as:
Fibromyalgia
Central sensitization syndrome
Failed spinal surgeries
Peripheral neuropathy
Degenerative disc & joint diseases
Spinal compression fractures
Bursitis (hip, knee, shoulder)
Connective tissue diseases
She utilizes treatments such as medication management, physical therapy, as well as trigger point, cortisone, & Viscosupplementation injections, which can be done right in our Fort Wayne office. She also offers treatment for migraines and tension headaches through modalities such as preventive and abortive medication therapy (Botox®)
Taylor Cole, PA
Physician Assistant Taylor Cole has been a part of the PMC team since September of 2024. She obtained her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and her Bachelor of Science in Biology/Pre-Physician Assistant studies from the University of Saint Francis. Taylor is Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
